This site is the former home of Captain Robert Bartlett, an arctic explorer. The house is over 150 years old and remained in the family, where artifacts and awards of the captain's were displayed. Open May to October, the site features exhibits, artifacts and souvenirs such as crafts and jewellery. A series of plays honouring the life of Captain Barlett are performed during the summer months. School tours are available during the spring and fall.

This historic site was erected in 1972 to commemorate the ice navigator and explorer, Captain Robert A. Bartlett. Bartlett mastered his own ship at 17-years of age and spent the next 50 years exploring the waters of the Arctic.
