This centre houses artifacts unearthed at several archaeological digs at Dildo Island and Andersons Cove, conducted by Bill Gilbert - Sylvie Leblanc of the Baccalieu Trail tourism Association, of Maritime Archaic and Dorset Indian Sites in these areas. It also has touch tanks with sea life, a giant squid replica and numerous displays highlighting the areas rich history.
