    		Brimstone Head Folk Festival
    Aug 08 to Aug 10
    A motorcade and boat flotilla opens up this outdoor festival, which showcases mostly local Newfoundland and Irish musicians. Beer tents, food stalls and a camping site are available on the grounds. The festival takes place every second weekend in August at the Brimstone Head Park.
