This museum is a tribute and memorial to the large number of Newfoundland's people who perished at sea. A collection of artifacts, photos and documents are visible. The building was the former Yugoslav Pavillion at Montreal's Expo 67, and was shipped to Newfoundland to house the museum. The building resembles the sails of a schooner.
