Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978, this natural attraction features the remains of a camp set up by a small group of Norse sailors and is believed to be the oldest European settlement in the world. Norse artifacts, including a bronze, ring-headed pin, a bone needle and a spindle whorl are on display.
