This is the perfect location to see the endangered Piping Plover.With only 5000 or so remaining worldwide, the Piping Plover can be seen nesting on the beach of the Park. Observation decks are in place to enjoy the birds, and great care is taken that the nests are not disturbed.

The Grand Codroy Wildlife Museum and Taxidermy is the largest Wildlife display in eastern Canada. Also find a petting zoo and taxidermy studio, where professional artists create life like displays. Open seven days a week. Starting in May to October. Open 9 am to 9 pm.

This 24 km trail is a provincial gateway for the Trans Canada Trail and extends from Channel - Port aux Basques to McDougall's Gulch. Wreckhouse, where trains were sometimes blown from their tracks, is located on the trail.
