This reserve contains North America's oldest multi-celled fossils. Tours are available of this former sea floor, where 30 species once existed at the bottom of the ocean, away from all light. These are the only deep-water marine fossils known in the world from that period. Visitors should dress weather that is typically foggy, cool and damp.
