Built on the property of Sainte-Pierre's first church in 1690, this cathderal was rebuilt between 1905 and 1907 after it was devastated by fire in 1902. Stained glass windows and a steeple composed of sandstone from France and local rhyolite are highlights of the structure.

This former fort was built in the late 17th century to defend the area from British raids during that period. The battery that now stands there was built during the 1800s to protect the area during the Crimean War.

The memorial commemorates the islands' involvement in the First and Second World Wars, and the liberation of the area from Germany by Free French Forces of General de Gaulle in 1941. The island archives are located nearby.
